Reality A: The unit of data is joined in a structure (coded), streamed in multiple directions, and decoded.

Potential Reality Construct: The unit of data is joined in a structure (coded). Streamed in multiple directions, there is the possibility of multiple outcomes. Decoded data is the potential reality construct. With an infinite number of possible decoding structures, there exists the possibility of an infinite number of alternate realities. A data stream is fluid and malleable, not static.

The Project refers to the theoretical possibility of multiple lines of sequential action that intersect at each event in time. Each intersection is a singular point in time space. This allows for an event to occur simultaneously along an infinite number of lines of action. Thus the context /meaning of an event is always in flux.

For Act 5 of the project "In Anticipation," I created a web-based model of the Potential Reality Construct. It operates through a series of linked pages that contain sound and image files. As the user moves through the site, the pages cycle onto themselves creating an echo. This echo, as the user continues to cycle through the site, creates an additive interference the sum of which is noise.

The site content describes a specific set of actions that are to be performed simultaneously in the actual world. The performance of these actions as described is impossible; they are virtual actions.

The actions are as follows:
A room full of LCD computer screens
streaming digital dropouts
Sound Performance: Philip Jeck
Performance of Paradise Now: The Living Theater
Dropping a Han dynasty urn: Ai Wei Wei
Room full of Cathode ray tube
TVs playing static
Sound Performance: Herbert Brun's Futility
Holograms
A waterfall
Sermon: Priest Thaalawam, Shield of Wisdom
